George and Barbara exchange vows in Cinderella Wedding, Havre de Grace

Congratulations to everyone, but especially to George and Barbara Wagner (of Bahoukas Antique Mall and Collectables) on their perfect wedding in December 2009 in downtown Havre de Grace. Shared with a small group of their friends, George and Barbara exchanged vows in the most perfect George and Barbara manner. George's private Cinderella Collection inspired Barbara's friends to create the perfect setting for a Cinderella Wedding in a matter of days. And George, not known to be a speaker, gave his vows through song, singing them to Barbara as her friends listened to the cd music. There are no words to accurately describe this beautiful wedding. What a wonderful event to have been priviledged to witness. Congratulations to George and Barbara and to Rob Otis and HdG Main Street for the winning photo!

Every now and then community means our visitors from nature. This morning, as the sun came out to remind us that the STORMS will pass, I watched my favorite winter visitors playing in the water. The Coots are back. I know they're probably working hard to eat. But they look like they're just having so much fun! This slideshow doesn't quite do them justice. But I couldn't get close enough to try my FLIP video. They dive and pop up sometimes several feet away - like corks. Too cute.
