Hallooooooween '07

More than 350 kids took part in the Annual Halloween Parade sponsored by the City of Havre de Grace and the Parks and Recreation program, and supported by dozens of volunteers.

I'd like to apologize for some of the poor images. Kids were moving quickly, and I inadvertently had my camera on the wrong setting. But I just had to use nearly all the photos. The sense of 'community' was most certainly prevalent during this event.

I think there were nearly as many parents as there were kids. And everyone seemed to be excited. Although I have to admit, some of the little people seemed just a bit confused by the silly antics.

Old fashioned ingenuity and creativity was the code of the day. And moms and dads, brothers and sisters, grandparents and neighbors, all seemed to be helping to get costumes 'just so.'

From the toddler to the teen, everyone was having fun. And from a butterfly to a pirate, not a single idea seemed to be left out of this Halloween Parade!

From pirates to jokesters, PacMan characters to super heroes, everyone was having fun!

Nope - you're NOT seeing double. But the Superman in the middle was keeping his eye on the werewolf!

Creativity, as I said above, was abundant in the costumes. Check out the variety of young ladies (?) in these photos!!!

Tiny, older and in-between, everyone was having fun!

A great time was had by all. The weather was perfect! And I'm sure each participant is already planning next year's costume! Hope the Great Pumpkin was good to you!
