The Harford County Public Library System has collected over 209 oral histories - some include video or photographs. All are available through the Bel Air Branch.

But the real excitement is that the first group of Harford County Living Treasures in online for your browsing.

What an awesome treasure for historians... and for all of us who need to remember past lives - not just past facts!

Change is difficult for everyone. But without it, we stagnate, become bored, have no focus, and worst of all - no passion!

It is difficult for me to close this website as it's been a labor of love for many years. But I sold my havredegrace Magazine a year ago and need to move on. I need to discover what I'd like to be "next." And so.... I will be no longer be fussing with this website. I'll continue to do freelance writing, work on client websites, and begin a project interviewing for oral histories. And I'll soon be writing regularly on my blog: ellieoops so check it out in a couple weeks!
